The media plays a big part in the way that artists are viewed.  what people are saying is that because it is set in 1950's there wouldn't be white people in Africa and this is scene as rasicest. Because of the media wanting to find a story they look for things to look at. this can really affect the artist. this is because of them having to try and please everyone. when the media does this and artist lifes become harder to produce music.
